history
Jadi Modelcraft was launched in the 2000 Nuremberg Fair by Jason & Argos Co., Ltd. as a special project, and as a diversification from our already well established Jaditoys die cast range, developed continuously after our Company was founded in 1978. The launch of Jadi Modelcraft in the 2000 Nuremberg Fair with a select range of high quality 1:43 scale precision models was met with a spectacular reception - the first releases achieved astonishing high quality. |

Despite the newcomer status in the model trade, Jadi Modelcraft was able to establish a network of distributors worldwide in the short period of the 2000 Nuremberg Fair. This was a strong and powerful endorsement on our ability to select desirable models, to obtain the relevant license agreements with the car manufacturers despite their most stringent requirements, to create such high quality precision models, but without the high costs normally associated with such craftsmanship. Several releases later, the industry really began to take notice as the range of the 1:43 models doubled within a year, with each release reinforcing the expected quality of the brand Jadi Modelcraft. |

| The true test came with the launch of our first 1:18 scale model, which was again met with rabid excitement in Nuremberg from our distributors and the model trade. The favorable reception again reinforced our strategy of carefully researched and selected models, strict high quality requirements, all at a cost acceptable to the discerning model collectors. The continuing support from discerning model collectors worldwide pursuing the Jadi Modelcraft brand has enabled us to expand the range exponentially in the last few years, and we would take this opportunity to thank you. product development
The selection for development is based on a certain model meeting our own strict criteria. This is then followed by extensive product research on the detailed features of the actual cars. Even if the car manufacturer (licensor) is unable to provide information, our researchers based in Europe painstakingly track down and survey these specialist cars and spare no effort in ensuring that the finished model will be an accurate representation. Only then do we feel that we can honour the licensing agreement granted to us, and also that we can fulfill our obligation to the discerning model collectors who choose to collect the Jadi Modelcraft brand. ethos
We work with a team of veterans with specialized expertise in model prototypes, toolings design and moulds manufacturing, all of whom are vivid model collectors themselves. Manufacturing of our models is carried out in China with a close knit network of subcontractors. We demand people who show a commitment to their staff and working conditions, as well as to our demand for craftsmanship which is always under our strictist control.
outlook
Jadi Modelcraft is therefore now much more than a brand. It is now a community, comprising of models craftsmen, distributors and a dedicated group of discerning model collectors worldwide. | |
